KSSY 2024 Objectives

The main purpose of this scheme is to provide equal education to every student of the state because they are the future of India, and it is very important for every student to complete their education to reach their goals. This scheme will help the student to pursue their education in professional and technical courses. The government will be providing a loan amount of Rs.10 Lakh to all the eligible students and it will be their wish that from this loan amount what course they want to opt for.

Kalinga Sikhya Sathi Yojana Moratorium Period of Loan

The applicants do not have to pay any EMI for the loan till the completion of the course. After you have completed your course plus one year after the course, you have to start paying the loan amount. The loan will be sanctioned for only 1% interest. This will depend on the bank from which you applied for a loan. To repay the loan amount for the scheme you have to pay the loan amount as per the norms of the scheduled banks for pursuing higher education. The students will get a loan for their further studies under the Kalinga Sikhya Sathi Yojana. The repayment of the loan amount will depend upon the scheduled bank. You will be able to check the list of banks from where you can apply for the loan on the official website of KSSY.

• Maximum loan – The students who are applying for the loan will get a maximum of Rs.10 lakh loan from the scheduled bank.
• Minimum loan – There is only Rs.10 lakh amount for the loan, the government will be not issuing any minimum amount of loan to any applicants.
• Duration of the loan- The period of repaying the loan amount is for 10 to 15 years if the loan amount is Rs.10 lakh or Rs 7.50 lakh. You can pay the loan within the given period.
• Rate of interest- The applicants have to pay 1% interest for their loan sanctioned by the bank.
